McDermott, Steven J.

Steven J. McDermott is the founding editor and publisher of the literary journal STORYGLOSSIA. He’s the author of the short story collection Winter of Different Directions and his short fiction has appeared in numerous online and print journals, including Aethlon: The Journal of Sports Literature, Carve, Passages North, Red Wheelbarrow, Word Riot, Westview, Thieves Jargon, SmokeLong Quarterly, DOGZPLOT, elimae, Mud Luscious, and Keyhole Magazine, among others. His stories have received multiple Pushcart Prize nominations, and his story “Blue Jeans and Black Leather” was produced as a short film and shown at several film festivals. He’s currently at work on a short story collection in between piecing together a multi-genre novelesque thingamajig.
