Rowland, Russell
Russell Rowland's first novel, In Open Spaces (Harpercollins 2002), made the San Francisco Chronicle's bestseller list, and was named among the Best of the West by the Salt Lake City Tribune. The sequel, The Watershed Years (Riverbend 2007) was one of three finalists for the High Plains Book Award. Russell has an MA in Creative Writing from Boston University, and he has taught at BU, St. Mary's College, where he was Writer-in-Residence, and MSU-Billings. He currently teaches online workshops at Gotham, and does private consulting. He is also the fiction editor for www.stonethrowmagazine.com.
