The following is an informational form.  As Dzanc makes plans to expand our DWIRP coverage, the more information we have from prospective Programs, the easier it will be for us to set up and begin DWIRPs in new schools and areas.

The form asks for basic information about both you, and the school at which you'd like to set up a program.  The DWIRP typically has a published writer going into the same classroom once per week for an hour to two hours, teaching that group of students about reading, writing, revising, and working on developing the students' interest in the written word in creative, exciting ways.  During the second half of the year, student work will be edited toward the creation of an anthology of student work and a reading will be set up at a local bookseller, library, or youth arts center.

Filling out this form will make us aware of your interest in running a program, and where, as well as giving us the contact information at the school so that we can verify their interest as well, or in some cases, help you explain the program.
