Short Story Crank Workshop.

The goal is to provide writing prompts and some intense exercises, and as well as some quick looks at master samples of stories, all in an effort to get the participants cranking on writing a short story. Sometimes working a little fast that in comfortable can result in a viable draft worthy of pushing to finished. It is not easy to write a story in a month, but not harder to write a draft in just a few hours. These first four hours, on Dzanc Day, will be spent getting a robust start. One week later, assuming participants will push forward with the work in that time, Philip will be open to receiving drafts by email and critiquing them with an eye toward refining and finishing.
