4 Hours, 4 Poems.
Here’s the plan: You show up on a Saturday morning, properly caffeinated (you may want to ramp it up some) and we’ll write. Each hour, we’ll read poems to fire us up. Then we’ll launch into a writing prompt—some technique-based, some content-based--which will lead to more reading, more writing. The workshop is about pushing yourself, so you’ll want to leave your self-doubts at the door (but we can talk about those), opening up to creative possibility, and believing that writing a lot will make the poems show up when you show up for them.
