Voice in Fiction.
In literary fiction, original “voice” is essential, but how do we, as writers, achieve this intriguing element in our own work? In this workshop, we’ll participate in a variety of exercises to explore how voice works effectively and how we can tap into it. We’ll also check out examples of short fiction by Denis Johnson, Amy Hempel, Etgar Keret, and Deb Olin Unferth that can inspire and inform. .
