Nancy Krygowski


Nancy Krygowski’s first book of poems, Velocity, was chosen by Gerald Stern for the Agnes Lynch Starrett Prize from the University of Pittsburgh Press and was published in 2007. Co-founder and Assistant Artistic Director of the Gist Street Reading Series, she is a recipient of a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Individual Artist Fellowship, a Pittsburgh Foundation Grant, awards from the Academy of American Poets and the Association of Writers & Writing Programs, and residencies from Jentel, The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and Virginia Center for Creative Arts.

Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith is the author of Blue on Blue Ground winner of the 2004 Agnes Lynch Starrett Prize and a finalist for Lambda Literary Award. His chapbook, What's Required, won the 2003 Frank O'Hara Prize. His work has appeared in various publications including Barrow Street, Columbia Poetry Review, Court Green, 5 AM, Gulf Coast, Prairie Schooner, and Poetry After 9-11: An Anthology of New York Poets. He's a 2007 Fellow in Poetry from the New York Foundation for the Arts and Visiting Assistant Professor of English at West Virginia Wesleyan College.
