Sherrie Flick


Sherrie Flick’s debut novel Reconsidering Happiness was published in 2009 by University of Nebraska Press. She is author of the flash fiction chapbook I Call This Flirting (Flume Press, 2004). Recent anthologies include The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Writing Flash Fiction (2009), New Sudden Fiction (Norton, 2007) and Flash Fiction Forward (Norton, 2006). She has received artist residencies from the Ucross Foundation and Atlantic Center for the Arts, and a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts fellowship. She lives in Pittsburgh where she is co-founder and artistic director of the Gist Street Reading Series.
