Hardy Jones

Hardy Jones holds a BA in English from Louisiana State University, an MFA from the University of Memphis, and a PhD in English from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His fiction and nonfiction has appeared in over twenty journals. In 2001, his memoir People of the Good God was awarded a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts. In 2006, his essay "Laotian New Year and Its Tradition" was the result of field research for the "New Populations Project" for the Louisiana Division of the Arts Folklife Program. He is the Director of Creative Writing at Cameron University.
